Late Start – Thursday, Oct. 4th

As part of our plan for embedded, authentic Professional Development, once again this year we will be having 4 Late Starts. This year, they will be on Thursdays. School will start 2 Hours late on the following days: October 4, December 13, February 14, and May 2.   School will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Buses will pick students up 2 hours later than their normally scheduled routes.... Special Person’s Day

Your child is invited to show off their school by inviting a special person on Friday, October 5th from 7:00a.m. – 8:15 a.m. A light breakfast including donuts, coffee and juice will be available in the cafeteria.  Participants may be grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, neighbors; anyone who is special to your child.  They are welcome to tour the school and show them their classroom.  This is a great event that is well attended.  Please do not park in the bus loop.  Normal school breakfast is not available except to Kindergarten... Facility study says schools need maintenance and to manage growth

  E. Carver Co. Schools has been a growing district for decades. While the district opened a new elementary school last year, some of its schools are nearly 50 years old. We’re like a parent in a demographic sandwich, who’s caring for young children and aging parents at the same time. To navigate this situation, the school district conducted a facilities study in early 2018. Application for free or reduced school meals – Nutrition Services

Application for free or reduced school meals Our school provides nutritious and delicious meals each day. Breakfast costs $1.70; lunch costs $2.95 High School, $2.75 Middle School, and $2.55 Elementary. Adults are $3.85. Your children may qualify for free or reduced price school meals. Complete the form for Application for Educational Benefits here A new application must be submitted each year. At public schools, your application also helps the school qualify for education funds and discounts. State funds help to pay for reduced price school meals, so all students who are approved for either free or reduced price school meals will receive school meals at no charge. State funds also help to pay for breakfasts for kindergarten students, so all participating kindergarten students receive breakfasts at no charge.
