Each year, as a service to our community, Clover Ridge Elementary collects gift cards to support those in need within our community. I am proud to say that last year our community donated and were recipients of close to $1,000 in gift cards to support families in our building! This is a great service project that teaches generosity for our families and provide an immediate need for families during the holiday season. Gift Card ideas include gasoline, grocery, or clothing. (Target, Walmart, Speedway, KwikTrip, Cub Foods, etc). Hopefully, by providing some assistance to families for the basic essentials, families can prioritize and have extra during the holiday season.
This year, we have added a Toy Collection Drop in the Main Office for families to contribute to. These donations will be distributed to local families and charities who help others in need.
We will be collecting gift cards and toys from today, Nov. 20 through Dec. 8. Gift Cards will be distributed between Dec.12-16. Gift cards in increments of $10 or $20 are preferred. Please label with monetary amount to assist with distribution.
