SILLY STRING THE PRINCIPAL DONATION DRIVE
This year the Clover Ridge Elementary PTO will be holding its annual Donation Drive as its major fundraiser. 100% of donations directly support our students and staff. In past years with two fundraisers, we are able to raise over $25,000. Our goal is to raise $15,000. Please know that EVERY GIFT COUNTS, no matter the size.
What does PTO do with the money you donate?
Fund building and grounds improvements such as enhancements to the playground, purchases of cluster furniture, lunch room tables and sound system.
Fund classroom enhancements including online learning subscriptions, Scholastic News, materials for special projects, snacks for MCA testing, pedometers, and classroom materials, including books and cluster library materials.
Fully or partially fund field trips and grade level experiences including the Minnesota Zoo, Science Museum, BizTown, The Works, Landscape Arboretum, roller skating in PE, the Kindness Retreat, etc.
Fund school events including the Back to School BBQ, Pizza and Bingo Night, Spring Social, 5th Grade Graduation, and provide Clover Ridge t-shirts to all incoming students.
Fund staff appreciation activities including conference meals and Teacher Appreciation Week, because it’s our hope that these reminders to our staff will lighten their load.
If you are able, please donate. Donations are 100% tax deductible. Our donation drive begins March 7 and ends March 17, the official Clover Ridge Day! If we reach our goal, randomly selected students from each homeroom will get to spray Mr. Slinde with silly string during an all school assembly!
